The case against Zlochevsky and gas company Burisma closed

Gas holding Burisma announced the closure of all procedural actions and court proceedings in Ukraine against the President of the holding Nikolai Zlochevsky and the operating companies included in Burisma Group.

«This decision is the result of many months of mutual work of the two teams – the General Prosecutor’s office and Burisma Group,» — said in a statement on the website of the company.

It is noted that in the course of check Burisma was assessed additional tax payments in the amount of 180 million UAH.

«Company Burisma Group fully repaid this sum», — is told in the message.

Recall that in late December, the Deputy head of the faction MFP Parliament and close to Petro Poroshenko, the Deputy of Igor Kononenko met in Vienna with Zlochevsky. Photos from the meeting hit the media.

Nikolay Zlochevsky held a position of Minister of environment from 2 July 2010 to 20 April 2012 in the government of Mykola Azarov. In early 2015, Zlochevskiy was wanted on suspicion of illicit enrichment.

In September 2016, the Pechersk court of Kyiv ordered the Prosecutor General to close the case against Mykola Zlochevsky and to remove him from the investigation. The GPU performed the appropriate court order, says Burisma.
