The Cabinet has identified the main priority of international policy

The main efforts of the Ukrainian government in international policy aimed at the actual return of the Crimea to the Ukraine and protect the country from armed aggression. This is stated in the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published on the government portal.

«The issue of military aggression against Ukraine and non-recognition of the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol remains the main agenda of international contacts and determines the order of relationships of our partners with the Russian Federation», — stated in the report.

The government stressed that any cooperation with the so-called government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol stopped.

«The foreign Ministry promptly and adequately responds to the contacts of the illegal Crimean authorities with foreign partners», — added in the report.

The government also boasted a «significant reduction in the number and clear identification of States with Pro-Russian policies» that was the result of effective work in the framework of international organizations.

«Realized the complex of measures on ensuring the most efficient use in the interests of all instruments of the OSCE, UN and COE to strengthen respect for the principles of democracy, rule of law, good governance, human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the rights of national minorities», — summarized in the report.

We will remind, Ukraine plans to soon launch a new diplomatic initiative that would allow to regain control over Russia annexed Crimea.
