The Cabinet has allocated 1.4 million UAH 20 injured during Euromaidan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 1 million 414 thousand UAH on payment of one-time financial assistance to 20 citizens who received bodily injuries of medium severity in the course of the Euromaidan in the period from 21 November 2013 to 21 February 2014, reports «Interfax-Ukraine».

The decision was taken at a government meeting on Wednesday.

First Vice Prime Minister — Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv noted that the funds will be allocated from the special Fund of the state budget to the Ministry of social policy.

We will remind, on February 18, the Verkhovna Rada appointed payments to people injured due to the actions of police officers during the protests on Independence square in Kiev in the winter of 2014.

The government adopted a decree on granting one-time assistance to persons who suffered minor injuries on the Maidan. Such a decision unanimously approved the members of the government on Wednesday, October 19. According to Deputy Prime Minister Pavel Rozenko, such people 505, they will receive 14 500 hryvnia, and the money is already allocated.
