The Batkivshchina faction leaves the coalition

Faction «Fatherland» comes from the coalition.

As reports UNIAN correspondent, about this at the briefing said the faction leader Yulia Tymoshenko.

Gerashchenko: Parliament moves to early elections

She noted that this decision was taken today morning at the meeting of the faction.

According to Tymoshenko, yesterday during voting in the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss the government «occurred extraordinary events, when all secret becomes obvious».

«Faction «Batkivshchyna» today at its morning meeting, took the only possible step is a decision. This step — exit from the coalition,» Yulia Tymoshenko said.

Tymoshenko said that the situation which exists today in Ukraine is a consequence of the Board «of the shadow clan and the political coalition». «Therefore, the party «Batkivshchyna» and the faction «Batkivshchyna» considers unacceptable the stay in this pack, which actually has no chance because he doesn’t want to reform, to protect Ukraine, to restart our life,» she said.

Tymoshenko called on all MPs who feel a responsibility to society, to leave the coalition.

Tymoshenko also called on all active people to do everything for full reboot «of the political situation in Ukraine.» In her opinion, «if not in time to restart the political process, if time does not remove from management the country of clan and political consensus, then the situation may spiral out of control.»

«If there is an uncontrolled uprising in Ukraine, including the number of weapons in the hands of people today, we just may lose the country», — said Tymoshenko.

She urged Ukrainians not to allow any «revolutionary and insurgent actions that can lead to the loss of our state».

Gerashchenko: Parliament moves to early elections

The people’s Deputy from «Blok Petro Poroshenko» Irina Gerashchenko believes that after the situation with the vote for no confidence in the government, the Parliament is moving towards early elections.

«The fact that today there are deputies in the hall, is not only a question of the irresponsible attitude to their work. It is also a natural reaction to what happened yesterday in Parliament», — said Gerashchenko.

She emphasized the difference in the number of deputies who voted for the resolution on mistrust to the government and for the previous on the recognition of unsatisfactory work of the government. «Where happened to those 40 deputies? What happened during this time?», the Deputy said.

According to Gerashchenko, «today we go into a severe political crisis, the worst political crisis which is a crisis of confidence not only between the government and the coalition, not only a crisis of confidence in the PPB faction, which, unfortunately, also yesterday has played a very ugly role in this scenario, but it is a serious parliamentary crisis.»

After what happened in the Parliament, considers Gerashchenko, «we are leaps and bounds go to early elections».

In turn the Deputy from BPP Sergey Leshchenko noted that during yesterday’s voting for the recognition of the government’s work unsatisfactory, and then for the resignation of the government, in front of everyone played out the spectacle. «Went through the ranks, telephoned, passed tube, said run of the Verkhovna Rada, run away, to not vote for the resignation of the government,» he says.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada finally passed resolution of no confidence in the Cabinet and, therefore, not sent Arseniy Yatsenyuk resigned. For this decision voted only 194 MPs (with the necessary 226 votes in favor) out of 236 registered in the session hall. A new vote on this issue is possible only at the next session, which will begin in September.

Speaker Volodymyr Groysman declared that the Parliament exacerbated the political crisis. «And I think it’s simple. Or within a week a solution will be found here, in Parliament, political forces and the proposed model of this situation, or the government must be fully restarted, if necessary – and this Parliament,» — said Groisman.

In a sessional hall there are no people’s deputies of the factions «Batkivschyna» and «Samopomich», which stated that Wednesday won’t come to the session of the Verkhovna Rada due to the failed vote on the resignation of the government.

According to information on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, members of the parliamentary coalition «European Ukraine» factions consisted of 262 MPs. Without «homeland» will remain 243 MPs with the required minimum of 226 members to form a majority.

In the case of withdrawal from the coalition faction of «Samopomich», in which 26 people, «European Ukraine» is losing the majority in Parliament and accordingly, ceases to exist.

As reported, on 27 November 2014 five factions created in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine VIII convocation adopted a decision on creation of the parliamentary coalition «European Ukraine». In the parliamentary majority included the faction «Block of Petro Poroshenko», «Popular front», Association «Samopomich», the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko and «Batkivshchyna».

In early September, 2015 the coalition of the left faction of the Radical party. Also, there are constant friction between the «Block Poroshenko» and «Popular front».
