Teachers in the Russian Federation were instructed to tell students about Russia as a «country ultramodern computers and nanotechnology»

On the Day of knowledge for Russian students from first through 11th grade will have a thematic lesson «Russia looking into the future». About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of education and science, the TV channel «Rain».

The channel has seen a copy of the methodical recommendations on the organization and conduct of the lesson and chose from them the most striking quotes.

It is noted that to conduct the lessons needs «in connection with the development of project of strategy of social-economic development of the Russian Federation until 2035» and the need to develop the Russians have «feelings of patriotism and love of country,» reads the explanatory note to the document.

For students in first to fourth grades, the main lesson should be «the study of the history and potential of the space industry, nuclear energy, and new, promising occupations associated with the development of robotics.»

For conversations with children in the fifth to seventh grades, the education Ministry suggested the topic: «Russia – one sixth of the land»; «Crimea – old new Russian territory»; «Power of Siberia»; «the Caucasus is a place of tourism and recreation»; «the North of Russia is promising in terms of growth.»

With pupils of the eighth–the ninth classes will be talking about that Russia first in space, nuclear power, «the country of ultra-modern computers and nanotechnology,» and «young scientists».

Class teachers are advised to associate with these topics in my presentation. Students in the eighth–the ninth classes is invited to share in mini-groups to discuss the most promising sectors of Russian science. The manual says that each group will represent the Ministry of Finance and will have to discuss how to allocate RUB 1 billion, which is the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation for the support of science.

With students in grades 10-11 are invited to spend the lesson in the form of a summit, debate or conference, during which will be discussed the main directions of development of the Russian economy.

The results of the training are encouraged to present at the all-Russian contest «Russia 2035» organized by the Federation Council. The document notes that the proposed materials are recommended.
