Started the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada

In the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, February 7, opened the sixth session. The opening was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman, the Ministers of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of Central Executive bodies, the judiciary and heads of diplomatic missions of foreign States.

Deputies and visitors of Parliament sang the national Anthem.

It is planned that the first plenary session, the deputies approved the agenda of the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation.

In the agenda the draft law on amendments to some legislative acts concerning state support to children who reside in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in the settlements located along the frontline.

In addition, the deputies will consider the second reading of the bill on the extraction and sale of amber.

It is also planned to consider a number of bills in the environmental field, and some draft laws that were not to be considered at the last session.

According to the approved calendar plan, the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada of 8th convocation will be held from 7 February to 21 July, on holidays, the MPs will not work in the parliamentary hall.
