To participate in the process of liberation of the son of national leader of the Crimean Tatars Dzhemilev Hayser from the colony in Astrakhan his defence intends to rely on consular services of Ukraine on the territory of Russia. This was announced by Russian attorney Nikolai Polozov, reports «Crimea Realities».
According to him, it is necessary to minimize the risks associated with the intentions of the family of Cemil bring him in after his release from prison in Kiev.
«It is planned that the consuls would come to the colony for service transport, which will move Hayser. This transport is not subject to the inspection and stops. I hope that this will be the minimum guarantee in relation to him, not to be carried out provocations from the Russian law enforcement bodies», — said the lawyer.
The lawyer does not exclude that in the case of a prisoner in Russia may be opened a new criminal case.
«Well, for example, that he stole something in the colony or attack a guard. Provocations are possible when it is released… the Main objective at the time of the release of Hayser will be to ensure its complete isolation from the accessibility of any of the law enforcement bodies of Russia,» — said Polozov.
According to him, if Hayser Dzhemilev will not allow to go to Ukraine, it will be delivered on the territory of the Ukrainian Consulate in Russia and will remain there until the resolution of all problematic issues.
We will remind, the term of punishment Hayser Jemilev will expire on November 26, however, under Russian law, he should be released on the last working day before the deadline on Friday, November 25.
In 2013, the son of Cemil was recognized by a Ukrainian court convicted of the manslaughter of a friend of his family Fevzi Edemova of his father’s gun.
After the annexation of Crimea by the Russian investigating authorities decided to investigate his case again. The heiser was taken from the Simferopol remand prison in Krasnodar Krai (Kuban, Russia).
The Supreme court of the Russian Federation has reduced by half the sentence of 5 years imposed Krasnodar regional court for Hayser Jemilev. It happened after the Dnipro court of Kyiv in April 2015 defined it punishment in the form of 3 years and 8 months of imprisonment.
Hayser Cemil is serving a sentence in the Astrakhan colony №10.
