Russian TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, have declared their intention to participate in presidential elections in Russia in 2018, answering the question of the chief editor of the publication «GORDON» Alesya Batsman during a press conference for Ukrainian media said that the cost of the campaign is 400 million rubles (190 million UAH).
«We have a modest campaign, I collect money in familiar business. At first it was quite difficult with funding, it has become a little easier. But it’s a really difficult process and people work here because they are interested to participate in the political life of the country, they are interested in what is happening and they believe that it is necessary and podesena activities. There are no crazy earnings, this is not an election of «United Russia», where we can all come to cash in and forget about it, as about a bad dream,» said the leader.
According to her, the money for the campaign come from «different sources».
«This is the official pre-election Fund of the candidate, which is currently being developed. Part of the money will come through the party, part of the sacrifice my friends-businessmen», – said Sobchak.
Presidential elections in Russia will be held on 18 March 2018.
