The Secretary of security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev apologized for the coup attempt in Montenegro.

The newspaper reminds that a group of two dozen Serbs and Montenegrins, some of whom fought on the side of Russian-backed separatists in Eastern Ukraine, was detained in the capital of Montenegro Podgorica. And in Serbia, meanwhile, detained several Russian citizens who have confiscated uniforms and 125 thousand euros.

According to the report, Patrushev visited Belgrade on 26 October, in a clear attempt to contain a scandal after several Russians were deported from Serbia on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts in Montenegro.

As reported, Patrushev said that the Russians are suspected of involvement in a coup in Montenegro, acted without the sanction of the Kremlin.

«A source close to the Belgrade government announced that Patrushev, who previously was head of the FSB (Federal security service of the Russian Federation), apologized for the actions of Russians, who acted without the sanction of the Kremlin», — stated in the message.

We will remind, earlier the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic has accused the Pro-Russian opposition party Democratic front in plotting his murder.
