SBU demands to ban Le Pen from entering Ukraine. Sent a letter to the Ministry of foreign Affairs

The security service of Ukraine sent a letter to the foreign Ministry about the ban of entry candidate for the French presidency, the leader of the party «national front» marine Le Pen in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of office of the Chairman of the SBU Oleksandr Tkachuk, reports UKRINFORM.

«January 3, SBU sent a letter to the foreign Ministry. I think that maybe even today will be a positive response, and our initiative will be supported by that MS Le Pen it is necessary to prohibit entry into the territory of our state,» said Tkachuk.

According to him, the statements by Le Pen about the Crimea should have consequences, but the politician is not representative of the official authorities of the French Republic.

«This is unfortunately not the first case when foreign politicians allow themselves to specific actions or statements that, in our opinion, is contrary to the interests of our state,» said Tkachuk.

Earlier, the leader of the French far right presidential candidate marine Le Pen said that the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea by Russia was «not illegal».

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed outrage at the statements by marine Le Pen on the recognition of the legitimate annexation of Crimea.

«Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its indignation at the fact that one of the candidates election campaign in France, marine Le Pen made statements in support of the temporary occupation and attempted annexation by Russia of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol», — said in a statement.
