Fraction «Samopomich» announces withdrawal from the parliamentary coalition. The decision of the party faction leader Oleg Berezyuk said today, on 18 February, after an emergency meeting of the political forces.
«The seers of the party «Association «Samopomich» has decided to recognize impossible the further stay of the «Association «Samopomich» in League with political forces who became members of the oligarchic coup in Parliament and to cease participation in the parliamentary coalition,» he read out the statement.

The leader of the faction noted that all members of a faction have signed the appeal to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman concerning the termination of its participation in the coalition.
«February 16, 2016, the Ukrainian people witnessed a blatant conspiracy between the leadership of the state on one side and the oligarchs and they control forces in the Parliament on the other. There was an attempt final cementing the power of kleptocracy and oligarchy in Ukraine. It became obvious a powerful Alliance, which included part of the faction «Block of Petro Poroshenko», «popular front» and the wreckage of the Party of Regions controlled by a number of oligarchs. These actions have delegitimiziruet the government of Ukraine, which is attempted on the state of the system and completely destroyed the parliamentary coalition «European Ukraine», — stated in the decision of the party.
According to Berezyuk, his party will initiate the creation of a platform for consolidation of expert and public media at national and regional levels «with a view to agreeing joint positions on the Constitution of Ukraine, economic development and the welfare of the people, reforms in key sectors and developing an action plan to achieve these goals.»
«Declare readiness to support those bills of the new coalition and the President, who will contribute to the defense of the country, European integration and the welfare of the people», — noted in the decision.
Fraction «Samopomich», in turn, initiates amendments to the law «On elections» for the purpose of holding the next parliamentary elections based on open electoral lists.
«Samopomich» also refers to those deputies — members of fraction «Blok Petro Poroshenko» and «Popular front», «who consider unacceptable participation in the organization of the cementing power of kleptocracy and oligarchy», urging them to leave their factions and work together to coordinate actions for the protection of parliamentarism in Ukraine.
«We are ready to turn to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine — we are ready to leave any positions that we have today», — said Berezyuk journalists, answering a question of journalists, whether for the resignation of the Vice-speaker of the Parliament Oksana Syroid.
Recall, 16 January the Verkhovna Rada listened to the report of the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on the government’s work in 2015, dismissed him, acknowledging that the work is not satisfactory, but during the vote of no confidence in the government has gained only 194 votes with the required 226. A new vote on this issue is possible only at the next session, which will begin in September.
February 17, faction «Batkivshchyna» announced its withdrawal from the coalition. In September 2015 the coalition left Radical party of Oleg Lyashko.
Without representatives «Samopomich», «the BYuT representatives» and «radicals» in the coalition «European Ukraine» will remain 217 deputies at the minimum required 226 members to form a majority.
