«Samopomich» declared transition in opposition

Having withdrawn from the coalition faction «Samopomich» declared transition in opposition and intends to propose an alternative solution to the development of the Ukrainian state, said the head of the faction Oleg Berezyuk.

«Today, when we ceased operations in the coalition, we begin to build an opposition force that is a counterbalance and will offer an alternative solution to the development of the Ukrainian state» — quoted by O. Berezyuk, the press service of the party «Samopomich» on Friday, February 19.

According to him, «Samopomich» remains in Parliament, but is now the opposition. The faction will support the decision that he believes is right, even if they are filed by the government, the coalition or the President of the country.

«To work in opposition is not meant to criticize, it means twice more work. On the one hand to find alternative better solutions, on the other hand to analyze what you have and to support them or not support», — said Berezyuk.

As reported, the leader of the faction «Samopomich» Berezyuk February 18, stated from the rostrum of the Parliament on the release of his faction from the coalition «European Ukraine». He handed to the presiding at the evening meeting on Thursday the Vice-speaker Andrew Parubiy «signature under this statement» and asked to upload the document in the office of the Verkhovna Rada.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at the morning plenary meeting, on 19 February reported that the administration of the Parliament has received documents of the party «Samopomich» with signatures of people’s deputies of the coalition «European Ukraine».
