Russian officers in the OSCE mission is a personnel or staff of the GRU, or FSB, said the General Kremenets

The staff of the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE in the Donbas are to be representatives of the Russian security services or intelligence. This opinion was expressed by the former head of the Joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire in the Donbas (SCCC), major-General Borys Kremenetsky, reports «Ukrainian truth».

«I am sure that any Russian officers in the OSCE mission is a personnel or staff of the GRU, or FSB. Others out there simply can not be. But they are members of the mission, so enjoy all the privileges and prestige enjoyed by the OSCE observers, regardless of nationality,» he said.

«Therefore, we from a formal point of view, to ask, what country is he from. It can be John Smith, but Russian by nationality. Or it could be Ivan Ivanov, a Bulgarian, American or whatever,» said the soldier.

«OSCE observers from 652 39 — the Russians,» he informs.

«But we have no guarantees that other countries are unable to provide the information. There are a lot of former officers from other countries, who once studied in the Soviet military institutions. But if we notice any observer suspicious, we inform them. There were such cases… Then there are some observers who just left the mission and went home,» added Kremenets.
