Russia wants to speed up the court on «duty of Yanukovych»

Russia is asking London’s High court to rule on the «duty of Yanukovych» in «an expedited manner».

Such an application it has submitted to the court, according to the Russian publication RIA «Novosti».

The Russian Ministry of Finance stated: «Russia has filed in London’s High court a motion for an expedited decision on claim filed in connection with non-payment of Ukraine’s debt in 3 billion dollars.»

It is noted that the motion was filed by the independent company The Law Debenture Corporation plc, representing the interests of Russia in the role of the Trustee, or the Trustee.

In the appeal of lawyers of the Russian Federation declare that «Ukraine was included in the response to the claim number of political arguments that are not related to the obvious requirements of the Trustee to fulfill debt obligations and often untrue».

In Russia expect that the motion hearing will be held in late 2016.

«If the satisfaction of the court a full trial is not required, and the final decision on the merits may be made at the beginning of 2017», — writes the edition.
