Rozenko believes that there is reason to raise the minimum wage in Ukraine to 4 thousand UAH

The minimum wage in Ukraine can be increased to 4 thousand UAH. About this on air of «Ukrainian radio» on 13 September said the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.

«To date, the draft state budget recorded a figure of more than 3700 UAH. Although recently there was a statement of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada, people’s deputies believe a reasonable figure of 4 thousand UAH, and I absolutely support the position of the faction on this issue. And I hope that in the process of working on the state budget in the Verkhovna Rada, we will show when such figures we will be able to bring the level of minimum wages,» – said Rozenko.

6 December 2016 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decision to increase the minimum wage from 1 January 2017 up to 3200 UAH.

14 June at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that allows the average salary to 10 thousand UAH in the medium term.

On 11 September the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk said that from 1 January 2018, the minimum wage in Ukraine could reach UAH 3723.
