«Roskosmos» has denied the information that the upper stage «Fregat» booster «Soyuz», crashed after launch from Vostochny, was preparing to launch from Baikonur, «Interfax».

The Ministry said that the flight mission for the launch of the carrier rocket «Soyuz-2.1 a» with «Fregat» designed «specifically for the Vostochny cosmodrome» and «has passed the test for the Vostochny space centre».

In Roscosmos said that the accident resulted in the combination of several factors «to identify which existing mathematical models was not possible.»

On 27 December, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that he launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome carrier rocket «Soyuz» was set to launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome, according to «Gazeta.ru». According to Rogozin, «missile configuration was indeed under Baikonur: did not consider the azimuth».
