Ukrainian center for educational quality assessment States that registration for external independent testing (EIT) will start at 10:00 on February 6 and will last until March 17, reports «Interfax-Ukraine».
«Before March 31 will be the last time for which it will be possible for the applicant to make changes to their registration details,» said Director of the Center Vadim Karangi at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, January 31.
According to him, the time for registration will be from 3 to 19 may, but it will be exclusively for participants of the antiterrorist operation, the residents of the Crimea and uncontrollable parts of Donbass.
«We expect about 300 thousand participants,» said Karangi.
According to him, compared with the year 2016 it is expected a decrease in the number of participants by 2%, due to demographic reasons.
Karangi noted that those wishing to participate in testing in 2017, citizens with special needs at registration may specify the form 086-3/O. In particular, in 2017, the participants with visual impairments will get the job, printed in larger font, and persons with hearing impairments will be given extra time up to 30 minutes on the job. From 2019 the rock of the task will be adapted in Braille.
Karangi urged those wishing to participate in testing to register in advance and reminded that, in addition to the electronic application for participation in testing must submit an application and the documents.
Graduates of 2017 applying to their schools, and graduates of previous years — in registration points, which will be opened in all regions.
Residents of uncontrolled territories will be able to send statements via e-mail.
The main testing session will be held from 23 may to 16 June, an additional 3 to 12 July.
In 2017 will be accepted certificates of testing as the current year and 2016.
The Director of the Center noted that a lot of alumni out of 12 possible to pass the items must pass the EIT in the Ukrainian language and literature, and another 3 subjects to choose their own.
At the same time, graduates of schools of 2017 will be required to pass Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics or history of Ukraine, which will be counted as final exams in school.
Another two subjects graduates will be able to choose and one of them will also be credited as the results of school exams.
In 2017, the registration for the substantive session of testing, certain categories of applicants can register for an additional session. This option is available, particularly for students abroad, winners of Olympic games, citizens that religious beliefs cannot pass the test in the main session.
