Rada adopted the bill to extend for a year of special government order in Donbas

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill No. 7164 on the extension for a year of special government order in Donbas, the correspondent of «GORDON».

For the document voted 229 MPs with 226 necessary votes.

During the voting in the session hall of the Rada have any smoke. Later, individual MP Yuriy Levchenko said that he set fire to the Parliament a smoke bomb, to prevent the passage of the bill.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko submitted to the Parliament a draft law No. 7164 «On creation of necessary conditions for the peaceful settlement of the situation in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions», which proposes to extend a special government order in Donbas, 4 Oct.

This initiative, once finalized, the Committee on national security recommended that as a basis and in entirety. The bill now says that a year-long extension of the law «On special order of local government in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions» will take effect only after the withdrawal of all illegal armed formations from the territory of Ukraine.

October 6, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in first reading bill No. 7163 of the restoration of sovereignty over the occupied part of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, initiated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
