The conditions in the documents on cooperation with the International monetary Fund says Ukrainian government, then they are discussed with the IMF. This was stated by MP from the bloc of Petro Poroshenko, a former economy Minister and ex-Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk in the program «BATMAN» editor-in-chief of the edition «GORDON» Alesya Batsman on the channel «112 Ukraine».
«The IMF is the skeleton upon which the possibility of other creditors. Who writes the program? Of Course, Ukraine. She agreed with the IMF. Of course, it is the lender who wants to return the money. Of course, he wants decision-making that will allow the country to return this money. Whether it is a simple solution? No, because the situation is difficult. This is a document written and signed by the representatives of the Ukrainian government. It shall be signed by the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine and recently the President of Ukraine. But this does not mean that it is any document. He previously discussed with the IMF, agreed positions, because it is not under any obligation to give money,» – said the Deputy.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine needs the cooperation with the IMF.
«The easiest way to say no, but it would be a lie. IMF funds not needed budget. We pay out of budget in local currency. These funds in extreme cases could be an indirect way to find an option that you have recalled (the issue of funds by the national Bank. – «GORDON»). Ashamed to say I will not remember this body,» said Pynzenyk.
He noted that the problem was lack of currency.
«Ukraine’s foreign debt amounts to $115 billion, around half have returned within the year. Where? What is the source? Without lending to keep the situation impossible. It is possible in another place to obtain currency? No, for us markets are not open. Monetary Fund is the basis on which loans are of the European Union (the EU will not give us money, if you stop the IMF program), and even direct commercial loans allows cooperation program with the IMF. Therefore, the IMF can love can not love, can hate, but it is necessary for Ukraine, because there is no alternative», – said the politician.
