Poroshenko submitted to the Verkhovna Rada representation for dismissal. from the post of Prosecutor General

President Petro Poroshenko made a proposal to grant the consent of the Verkhovna Rada on dismissal of Viktor Shokin to the post of General Prosecutor of Ukraine.

On Friday February 19, reported the press service of the head of state.

As stated in the document, the proposal is made «in accordance with paragraph 25 of part one of article 85, paragraph 11 of part one of article 106 and article 122 of the Constitution of Ukraine».

To present this paper at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada authorised representative of the President in Parliament Stepan Kubiv.

Recall, February 16, Poroshenko called the Peloponnese to resign. On the same day Shokin allegedly filed.

Later it was reported that Shokin just went on vacation. Later, the Chairman of the faction «PPO» Yuriy Lutsenko assured that Poroshenko had received the resignation of the Prosecutor General.
