Poroshenko – gunners: You have to be ready to return to the demarcation line in the Donbas at any moment and join the battle

Ukrainian gunners who are withdrawn from the separation line in the Donbass, should be ready to go back at any time. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the village of Divychky of Kiev region on Friday on the occasion of the celebration of the day of missile troops and artillery, according to his press service.

Poroshenko noted that artillery accounts for up to 70% of combat tasks in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in the Donbas.

«Even today, when in accordance with the Minsk agreements, tanks and artillery of caliber more than 100 mm is reserved at a fixed distance, missile and artillery units remain the aggressor’s quite a significant deterrent. And he clearly understands what the price would have to pay if anyone dares to go on the offensive. It is therefore necessary to hone skills, rapid response, the movement and deployment of artillery and missile systems. You took away from the demarcation line, but you should be ready to go back at any time and join the battle, if it is dictated by the needs of defence,» – said the President.
