Poroshenko and Merkel agreed to hold a meeting of foreign Ministers of «Norman Quartet» at the end of November

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed to hold in late November a meeting of the foreign Ministers «channel four».

This was discussed in their telephone conversation, said Monday 21 November, the press service of the Ukrainian President.

In particular, Poroshenko discussed with Merkel the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. The parties noted the deterioration of the security situation in the region. In this regard, it was underlined the importance of respect for Russian fighters of a ceasefire regime in the Donbas.

The two sides also discussed the preparation of a draft «road map» implementation of the Minsk agreements, in accordance with the results of the Berlin summit «Norman format». Agreed to hold at the end of November, the meeting of Ministers of foreign Affairs of the countries «Norman Quartet», the report says.

As reported, on October 19 in Berlin took place negotiations of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Following the talks, Poroshenko said that leaders «channel format» approved by the German and French proposals concerning the main criteria of the «road map» implementation of the Minsk agreements.
