Players of Spanish «betisa» has acted in support of the Ukrainian footballer: «We’re all cuckoo!»

Footballers «Betis» publicly supported striker Roman Zozulya after scandalously disrupted transfer of the Ukrainian «Rayo Vallecano» because of the false accusations of the fans of the past in the Nazi point of view of the player.

As informs «Censor.NO,» statement by the players of the Seville club appeared on his official website, which also published photos gathered together players.

«We are here to Express our outrage that our experienced team-mate Roman Zozulya in the last hours. This is a public lynching of the player whose professionalism and personal conduct since the advent of the team above reproach,» — said in the text of their statements.

The players of real Betis condemned the charges suffered by Ukrainian and recalled that the origin of these charges related to the false news about the significance of the t-shirt, in which he arrived to Seville (a number of Spanish media called the coat of arms of Ukraine a symbol of neo-Nazis). According to them, everyone in the team could be the victim of such treatment.

Partners Zozulya added that you know about the measures taken by the football Federation of Spain to protect his teammate and guarantees maximum safety. They also expressed the hope that all the organizations that should be responsible for the positive perception of the Spanish championship, will take the necessary steps so that the image of the championship was spoiled by unacceptable behavior of people who are against the values of football.

We will remind, the football player came to Rayo Vallecano in a t-shirt with the emblem of Ukraine. The Spanish press called him a Nazi. The newspaper later apologized, but fans were not satisfied and even hung a banner to Zozulya left.
