The Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Alexey Pavlenko wrote his resignation and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada.
The politician on Friday, January 29, said on his page on the social network Facebook.
«I have written a resignation, which I submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The fate of the application will decide the coalition of parliamentary factions and the Ukrainian Parliament», — he wrote.
Pavlenko reminded that the faction «Samopomich» has taken the decision to recall him from the Cabinet, but this solution, he argues, «is in no way connected to my work as Minister. The fraction gave a high assessment to the activities of the team Ministry of agrarian policy and reforms that we implemented together with the government».
«Until a decision by Parliament I and the Ministry team continue to work without slowing the pace of work», — said Pavlenko.
We will remind, on January 27, the faction «Samopomich» at its meeting took the decision to withdraw from the government the Minister of agriculture Oleksiy Pavlenko.
«Samopomich» offers to other parties in the parliamentary coalition to create a new coalition agreement and to elect a new government. By the way, on the resignation of the government also insists the leader of the faction «Batkivshchyna» Yulia Tymoshenko. And the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman stressed that currently there is no reason for the government’s resignation and the collapse of the coalition.
Recall, September 1, fraction Radical party of Oleh Lyashko withdrew from the parliamentary coalition. The leader of fraction Oleg Lyashko said that his political force is transferred in opposition to the current government, which, according to him, during the vote for the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine regarding the decentralization in the first reading has teamed up with the Opposition bloc, as well as «representatives of oligarchic groups».
In turn, the faction «Samopomich» has declared, that remains in the coalition. And in the «Fatherland» noted that there is still «room for manoeuvre».
7 September faction «Samopomich» has offered the coalition’s five steps, which «will allow the Parliament and the government actively earn».
On 9 September leader of the Batkivshchyna party Yulia Tymoshenko said that the parliamentary coalition in the near future will need to take the decision to change the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers.
President Petro Poroshenko noted that the current format of the parliamentary coalition must be maintained.
