Orlov court refused to commute the sentence to Navalny’s brother

In Russia, the Oryol regional court refused to commute the sentence Oleg Navalny, the younger brother of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. About it reports a press-service of the court.

The petition of the lawyer was rejected on August 29.

«Upheld the decision of Uritsky district court’s refusal to O. A. Bulk replacement of the unserved part of punishment by softer kind of punishment», – is spoken in the decision.

In the Orel court claim that Oleg Navalny is a «malicious violator of the established order of serving of punishment»,

«Acting has 13 penalties, five of which are imposed for willful violations of the established order of serving of punishment: possession of prohibited items (cell phone and SIM card, usb drive), the refusal of work without good reason, disobedience to representatives of administration of correctional institutions,» – said in a press release.

It is noted that Bulk «four times was punished with placement in a punishment cell».

«On activities of an educational nature O. A. Navalny reacts poorly, their behavior does not change,» – said in court.

30 December 2014 Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow found the brothers Navalny guilty of fraud and money-laundering company «Yves Rocher» and sentenced Alexei Navalny to three and a half years of imprisonment, and Oleg Navalny – to the same real term of imprisonment.

Oleg Navalny is serving a sentence in penal colony №5 in the village of Naryshkino, Oryol region.
