The Ministry of internal Affairs published the list of candidates for the position of head of the National police.
The list, released on Friday 13 January on the website of the Ministry of interior, indicated 64 candidates.
59 of them have legal education but are currently working in Ukraine – 18 candidates.
Among the candidates, in particular, are the acting President of NPU Vadim Trojan, chief of police Donetsk oblast Vyacheslav Abroskin, the chief of national police of Kiev Andrey Krishchenko.
According to «Ukrainian truth», the selection of applicants will pursue a temporary Advisory body the creation of which is not provided by the legislation, and is an initiative of the Minister Arsen Avakov. The Commission consisted of: Mikael Lyngby, John Montano, Joseph McAllister, Yevhen Zakharov, Roman Romanov, Vitaly Portnikov.
The selection procedure will consist of five stages, which include the study of submitted documents, test and interview.
«The final list of applicants must be generated and submitted to the Minister of internal Affairs in the shortest possible time but not later than 15 February 2017. The first phase of the Contest begins 18.01.2017 year», — stated in the message of Ministry of internal Affairs.
Recall, 14 November 2016, it became known about resignation of the head of national police Khatia Dekanoidze. The interior Ministry immediately accepted her resignation. The interior Minister announced that the acting head of national police will perform Vadim Trojan.
November 18, Trojan said that he is ready to take part in the competition for the position of head of national police. According to him, a year ago, when chose the head of national police, there were 12 candidates for the position, and he was one of them.
10 January 2017 was reported about the completion of applications for the Advisory competition for the position of Chairman of the National police of Ukraine.
