16 July, on the eve of the anniversary of the crash of flight MH17, dozens of relatives of those killed in the crash held at the Russian Embassy in the Hague (Netherlands) silent protest, reports RTL Nieuws.
It is noted that they stayed in front for about an hour. People blame Russia for the fact that the whole truth about the tragedy is still unknown.
Relatives of the victims brought to the Embassy the bench. It is attached to metal plate with the inscription in English: «the Expected liability and complete clarity». In Russian it is written: «Humanity is above politics.»
The Boeing 777, carrying out flight MH17 (Amsterdam – Kuala Lumpur) crashed on July 17, 2014 near Torez in Donetsk region. Killed all 298 people who were on Board. 193 of them were Dutch nationals.
July 8, 2015 the Malaysian delegation to the UN circulated a draft resolution to the Security Council of the world organization with the requirement to establish an international Tribunal for an independent investigation of the downed Boeing. However, Russia blocked the adoption of the resolution.
28 September 2016 in the Netherlands international investigation team composed of representatives of the Netherlands, Malaysia, Belgium, Australia and Ukraine, announced the interim results of the investigation. According to the Commission, flight MH17 was shot down from a Buk missile brought from Russia, from territory controlled by Pro-Russian militants.
In July 2017, the international investigative team on the case about the crash Boeing in the Donbass (JIT) – Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Malaysia, Australia agreed to hold the trial, which will be held under the Dutch legislation. The Minister for foreign Affairs of Australia Julie Bishop said that the perpetrators of MH17 can be judged in absentia.
The head of the international Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that the court in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass, which will be held in the Netherlands, would not be legitimate.
