The shareholders of the company «YUKOS» obtained the arrest of land for a Russian Orthodox centre in Paris, which belongs to the Kremlin. On 8 February 2016 reports «RBC» with reference to its sources.
According to the Agency, the plot is located in the centre of Paris, and by order of the Kremlin is the spiritual and cultural Orthodox center value of 90 million euros.

In the vicinity of the Eiffel tower, the Seine, it was planned to build an Orthodox cross-domed Church — the first since the collapse of the Russian Empire, will also be constructed a Seminary, a library, cultural center and the Russian-French school. The project is financed from the state budget of Russia.
At the same time, according to the Agency, on the draft decision of the court not affected: by the court of Paris for the object of diplomatic immunity and refused to block construction.
The lawyers appealed against the arrest footage and placed it on the dilapidated buildings, the court has not yet made a decision.

In turn, the head of the RF Ministry of justice Alexander Konovalov has declared that considers the decision of the ECHR on payment of compensation to shareholders of YUKOS ungrounded and expressed doubt that Russia will be able to perform.
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe noted that Russia shows readiness to implement the decision of the European court of human rights compensation to the former shareholders of the oil company «YUKOS».
In response, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin from 1 January 2016 was allowed to «mutually» to arrest foreign property on the territory of the Russian Federation.
