«Nemecka hvilya» announced the freezing of assets of Akhmetov in London, SCM information denied

Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov is no longer the owner of the apartments at One Hyde Park in London, which he bought for £136 million this writes «Nemecka hvilya», citing its own sources. In the SCM, owned by the businessman, denied this information.

«According to informed sources DW, after the decision on the freezing of assets was that the luxury apartments at One Hyde Park in London, bought by the owner of SKM at the time, for a record £136 million, already formally do not belong», – notes the edition.

According to «Nemecko hvilya», the alienation of property might be related to the litigation between Akhmetov and structures of Ukrainian businessman Dmitry Firtash.

The company SCM, Rinat Akhmetov after the article said that the London flat remains the property of the company Water Property Holdings Ltd, registered in the British virgin Islands, the beneficiary of which is Akhmetov.

27 December 2017 the District court of Nicosia (Cyprus) decided to freeze the assets of Akhmetov in the amount of $820 million in the case of termination payments for «Ukrtelecom». The same decision, the businessman is forbidden to spend more than €20 thousand per month. 8 January 2018, JMC has filed an appeal against the freezing of assets Akhmetov.

The court of London in January 2018 obliged SCM Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov to pay $760 million for the purchase of «Ukrtelecom» the Cypriot company Raga Establishment Ltd, which may be the owner of group DF Dmitry Firtash.
