NBU declared «Bank Boguslaw» insolvent

6 November 2017 Board of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has decided to include public joint stock company «Bank Boguslaw» insolvent, the NBU reported.

It is noted that the results of the diagnostic survey was approved by the necessary recapitalization of the Bank. PJSC «Bank Boguslav» submitted to the national Bank’s restructuring plan.

«However, as of November 1, 2017 PJSC «Bank Boguslav» did not ensure the implementation of measures envisaged by the restructuring plan in terms of increasing the share capital, with the result that the Bank has not achieved the planned amount of the share capital and the planned amount of regulatory capital. The amount of regulatory capital of PJSC «Bank Boguslav» on November 1, 2017 were less than one-third of the minimum level. Thus, in accordance with paragraph 2 of part 1 of article 76 of the law of Ukraine «On banks and banking activity» the national Bank shall decide about the Bank becoming insolvent», – stated in the NBU.

The national Bank added that 96% (5.6 thousand people) all depositors will receive their money in full, as their contributions do not exceed UAH 200 thousand. Only the Deposit guarantee Fund of individuals ‘ deposits to pay depositors, about 178 million UAH.

«Bank Boguslav» received the NBU license on 12 December 2006.

As of July 2017, the owners of a substantial participation in PJSC «Bank Boguslav» was Vladimir Romanenko (owns 76,5343% of the company’s shares) and Natalia Vakulenko (23,4657%), according to the website of the financial institution.
