National Agency of corruption prevention (NACP) has distributed funds allocated from the state budget for financing of statutory activities of political parties in 2017.
This was reported in the Facebook head of the NACP Natalia Korchak.
«NACP distributed funds allocated from the state budget for financing of statutory activities of political parties in 2017. The relevant decision provides for the parties: «NF» 113 million of 753.5 thousand UAH, «Block Poroshenko» — 103,6 million 112 thousand UAH, «Samopomich» — 56 million 394,56 thousand UAH, «Opozicii block» — 48 million 467,7 ths, RPL — 38 million 257,9 thousand UAH, «Batkivshchyna» — 29 million 182,2 thousand UAH», — stated in the message.
As noted Korczak Association «Samopomich» for the preservation of gender quotas in parliamentary elections provided 44 million 239,94 thousand UAH.
«Those who have questions Poblocka that in 2016, refused to state funding. At the moment, NACP there is no statement about the refusal of funding,» she added.
According to Korczak, after the decision on the allocation of National Agency at the next meeting, will decide on the allocation of funds to parties for the first quarter of 2017.
As reported, on October 8 2015 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law «On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on prevention and counteraction of political corruption», which provides for state funding of statutory activities of political parties and reimbursement of election campaigning during elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine. Some provisions of the act came into force on 1 July 2016, namely state financing of parties will start on 1 January 2017.
The act also introduced mandatory quarterly reporting of assets, income, expenses and obligation of a financial nature of political parties, the National Agency for prevention of corruption.
Earlier, the National Agency for corruption prevention (NACP) reported that over the III and IV quarter of 2016 state funding of statutory activities in the amount of 141 million 647 thousand UAH won four of the six political parties represented in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
As reported in «Honestly» at the end of October, almost half of the parties have not filed their financial reports.
In turn, the Deputy Director of the Department on prevention of political corruption NACP Oleg Sytnik said that around 100 political parties are not aware of the requirement of the law relative to filing with the National Agency for prevention of corruption (NACP) financial reports about their activities.
NACP has allocated budget funds to Finance parties 12.01.2017
