Mr. Yan: the court in the Hague will pass the materials on Maidan through 2-3 months

The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine will submit to the international criminal court additional documents on crimes on the Maidan for 2-3 months. This was announced by the head of the Department of special investigations of the GPU Sergey Gorbatyuk comments in the «112 Ukraine».

«I can only answer for the materials related to the events on the Maidan. This for two to three months we plan to submit additional materials,» he said.

Mr. Yan also said that the materials on the Maidan, the Crimea and the Donbas will be considered separately: «While they will be considered separately as there were two views of the BP, an appeal to the ICC to extend the jurisdiction of the first consideration of the events on the Maidan, then to the annexation of the Crimea and Donbass».

«Although they will initially be considered separately, but the attorney General emphasized the possible relationship between these events. Representatives of the ICC agreed that this version has the right to life, but it is necessary that there is enough evidence confirming that these events are connected,» – said Gorbatyuk.

«They do not rule out the possibility, but now the decision will be made separately», – he stressed.
