Monaco deny that the Russian businessman Rybolovlev became persona non grata

Monaco officially denied reports that principal owner and President of football club «Monaco», the Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev announced at the court of Prince albert II persona non grata. This is stated in the message of the communication Department of Monaco that is quoted by RBC.

«These rumors have no basis. Therefore, we categorically deny them,» – said representatives of the Department.

The businessman called the information about the receipt status of the unwanted person «megadiversity».

That Rybolovlev declared persona non grata in Monaco, September 24, reported the French newspaper Journal du Dimanche. Supposedly the Monegasque authorities asked the billionaire to «distance themselves» from the Principality because of a scandal involving an art dealer from Switzerland Yves Bouvier and the Minister of justice of Monaco Philippe Narmino. The latter resigned on September 15 because of suspicions that he may influence the judicial proceedings between the Rybolovlev and Bouvier relatively high prices for works of art which have acquired a Russian.

The Russian version of Forbes, Rybolovlev as is $7.3 billion It occupies 15-e a place in rating of the richest businessmen of Russia. Rybolovlev owns 67% of the football club «Monaco», the remaining share belongs to Prince albert II of Monaco.
