Moldova abolished restrictions on the import of Ukrainian goods

Republic of Moldova lifts from 1 January 2017, earlier restrictions on deliveries to the country of meat and dairy products and cement from Ukraine.

The agreement was reached in November 2016 during a meeting in Chisinau the meeting of the Moldovan-Ukrainian intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, reports «UKRINFORM».

Vice-Premier of Moldova, Minister of economy Octavian calmac assured the Ukrainian side that «Moldova will not extend from 1 January 2017, the regime of restrictions on the supply of Ukrainian meat and dairy products and cement».

The head of the Ministry of economy said that Moldova will take other measures to protect domestic producers of meat and dairy products.

We will remind, Moldova adopted a decision to restrict the import of Ukrainian goods in the spring of 2016.
