MIP in 2018, will expand the list of sites that threaten the information security of Ukraine

The Ministry of information policy of Ukraine intends to publish in early 2018, addition to the list of sites recommended to block in the Ukrainian segment of the Internet, in connection with the threat to information security of the country. This is stated in the reply of the Ministry to the query «Ukrainian news».

In MIP noted that the addition to the list of previously banned sites at the moment has the stamp «For official use».

«At the beginning of the following year for consideration and discussion by the expert Council under the Ministry fretboard access restrictions will be lifted», – said in response.

Then with an updated list of sites will be made available on the Ministry’s website.

On may 15 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree enacted the decision of national security Council and defense of Ukraine dated 28 April 2017 on the physical and legal persons against which introduced anti-Russian sanctions for a period of one year to three years.

In the sanctions list were, in particular, of social network «Vkontakte» and «Classmates», services, Mail.Ru and «Yandex», the Russian antivirus company «Kaspersky Lab» and «Doctor Web».

19 Jun 2017 MIP published a list of 20 websites that threaten the information security of the country. The list includes the following resources: rusvesna.su, rusnext.ru, news-front.info, novorosinform.org, nahnews.org, antifashist.com, antimaydan.info, lug-info.com, novorossia.today comitet.su, novoross.info, freedom.kiev.ua, politnavigator.net, odnarodyna.org, asssr.info, ruspravda.info, on-line.lg.ua, uscrimea.ru, c-pravda.ru, 1tvcrimea.ru.
