Medvedev instructed to create a new «territories of advanced development» Ukraine and Tatarstan

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev instructed to create a «territory of advanced development» in the town of Gukovo (Rostov region) on the border with the occupied part of the Ukrainian Donbass.

He said this on Monday 1 February at a meeting on financial and economic issues, UNIAN reports.

«I would also like to inform everyone that I signed three documents on the establishment of new priority development areas. In addition, the territory will appear in mono – Gukovo in the Rostov region and Naberezhnye Chelny in the Republic of Tatarstan», — said Medvedev.

According to him, this is a complex situation, for many people, there are certain risks associated with employment and unemployment. The creation of areas focused on «economic diversification of these towns and increase of their investment attractiveness».

As Medvedev said, is expected in Gukovo will create up to 5 thousand new permanent jobs.

Territories of priority development zones offering tax incentives, simplified administrative procedures and a number of other privileges.
