Macron has signed the Labour code, which caused mass protests in France

The President of France Emmanuel Makron live signed five decrees that reformed the Labour code, writes Le Figaro.

The President noted that the reform will enter into force no later than 1 January 2018, and its first provisions, such as the right to remotely begin to be implemented «in the next few days.»

«This reform will enter into force as soon as published decrees,» – said the President.

Reform in employment was one of the main promises of Macron during the election campaign. He promised to create jobs and make the country more competitive.

September 21 in major cities of France – Paris, Cannes, Marseilles, nîmes, Tour to protest out opponents of labor law reform. The rallies were organized by several large labour unions. In Paris, in particular, took to the streets, the socialists and Communist party members, including Secretary of the French Communist party Pierre Laurent. In the hands of the demonstrators were holding posters «the Poor of all countries, unite» and «the Law of Macron for bosses.»

Demonstration on 21 September to become a second wave of large-scale protests after the September 12, caused by the dissatisfaction with the reform of the Labour code.
