The leader of the faction of the Radical party Oleg Lyashko accused the leader of the faction «Batkivshchyna» Yulia Tymoshenko in the «cynicism and hypocrisy».
As the correspondent UNIAN, in the Parliament he accused Tymoshenko that she ascribes only to himself the merit of the extension of the moratorium on sale of agricultural land.
Lyashko said that the Radical party has initiated this process.
However, he said, «My late grandmother said, «don’t thank redneck — it costs you nothing, and the people nice.»
Lyashko showed a letter signed by Tymoshenko and Petro Poroshenko in 2008 to the IMF, which provides for the sale of land. «Take to sign to sell the land being in power, and then, passing to the opposition, to talk against the sale of land, it’s cynicism and hypocrisy,» — said the leader of the faction of the Radical party.
He called on Tymoshenko to work together in issues of social protection of the people and added: «Most importantly, julechka, do not forget to thank».
Parliamentarians from the Radical party and «Batkivshchyna» surrounded the podium Rada, after the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy gave time to speak to the representatives of the «Batkivshchyna», but announced the performance of Yuriy Shukhevych from the faction of the Radical party. Near a tribune there was disputes over who will speak, and the MPs asked for recess.
Then Parubiy adjourned the Parliament session till 11 o’clock.
As reported by UKRINFORM, the decision of the speaker was motivated by the arrival to him of the corresponding statement from the faction of the Radical party and the popular front.
As reported, on October 28 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on extension of the existing in Ukraine since 2001, the moratorium on sale of agricultural land until 2018.
Act No. 5123-1 «On amendments to section X «Transitional provisions» of the Land code of Ukraine about prolongation of prohibition of alienation of agricultural land» was adopted by the Parliament on 6 October.
Meanwhile, the international monetary Fund recommends Ukraine to open a land market. According to the Fund, the launch of the land market in Ukraine and the adoption of relevant legislation will help to reveal the significant potential for economic growth and will provide significant state revenues, including tax revenues.
