Lviv has established a scoreboard showing the number of punished for crimes against Maidan

February 23, on the square near the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Lviv has established an electronic scoreboard that displays the number of days that have passed since the end of the revolution of Dignity and the number punished for crimes against Maidan activists, writes the «Day.»

The idea of a commemorative scoreboard originated from former members of the Lviv Euromaidan and participants of the revolution of dignity. According to activists, four years after the events of the Maidan perpetrators of crimes against activists are still not punished.

The Creator of the scoreboard activist Mikhail Mosin said that he had spent on the production month. The number of days from the beginning of the revolution of dignity on the scoreboard is updated automatically. And the number of punished criminals need to be changed manually. At this point in this column the number «one».

Under the scoreboard says the number of victims of participants of the Maidan. The names of all the killed activists was discharged in a separate column. On the side of the scoreboard pasted the QR code when scanning with a smartphone which can go to appeal to the authorities.

«The lack of results from your inaction or deliberate sabotage destabilizie and without that a difficult situation plays into the hands of the enemies of Ukraine. The inevitability of punishment for the crime is one of the foundations of a legal state. For the opportunity to live in a legal state we went to the Maidan. Have returned not all. We are aware that the problem of the lack of results and penalties is a system. But in this system everyone has their duty, and we want you to implement it», – the statement says.

The protests, dubbed Euromaidan, and later the Revolution of dignity, proceeded across the country from 21 November 2013 to late February 2014. The protesters resisted law enforcement authorities and hired armed bandits (titushki). After the mass shooting of activists on February 18-20 from the country in Russia, fled ex-President Viktor Yanukovych. During the Euromaidan killed more than 100 people, hundreds were injured.

As reported on 20 February, the head of the Department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Serhiy Gorbatyuk, Euromaidan issued a 43 conviction. However, only two people got a real punishment and serving time by one person.
