Closed according to the decision of the Ukrainian confectionery group Roshen factory in Lipetsk region (Russia) can be restarted with new investors in the sale of the asset. This was stated by the Governor of the region Oleg Korolev, reports «Economic truth».
«Of course (it is possible to restart — ed.). Factory is alive. If it comes down to how far we must go — before the sale, the new investors will launch within two minutes,» said the Governor.
According to him, potential investors interested in the asset, but the structures associated with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has not yet made a final decision about selling the factory.
«Interested enough, and very nice to know. Our Russian and non-Russian. The interest is there. So as soon as Poroshenko finally decides to sell, all goes well. Will survive,» he said.
The Governor declined to name potential buyers of the factory, citing a non-disclosure agreement information.
As previously reported, Roshen Corporation has decided to stop production activities of the Lipetsk confectionery factory (Russia), said in a statement.
«Roshen Corporation is stopping the production activity of the Lipetsk confectionery factory. This decision was made for economic and political reasons. Full stop production and conservation of industrial and infrastructure projects planned for April 2017» — said Corporation on Friday, January 20.
While the Corporation claimed that the seizure of property of the Lipetsk andfabric imposed by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the framework of the criminal proceedings, made a sale of the factory impossible.
