The Pechersky regional court of Kiev recognized the untrue information of the interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov about the guilt of the leader of «Svoboda» Oleg Tyagnybok in clashes between protesters and police officers near the Verkhovna Rada on 31 August 2015, when a grenade killed several national guardsmen and injuring over 140 people.
According to the press service of «Svoboda», the decision was made by Pechersky regional court of Kiev on Tuesday, 9 February, in the morning. The press service of the party released a copy of the court decision in his page on the social network Facebook.
«To recognize such false and that injures the honor, dignity of Tyahnybok Oleh Yaroslavovych the information disseminated on 31 August 2015, during the briefing by the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Avakov Arsen Borisovich in the territory of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine, namely: «… I directly blame Oleg Tyagnyboka … He led the bandits who have been killing our soldiers…», — stated in the operative part of the judgment, scan copies which was published by the press service of «Freedom».
In this connection, the court obliged the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine «within one month from the date of entry of the decision legal force to provide a briefing and to refute false information, which was published by the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Avakov Arsen Borisovich…».
In the court decision it is noted that it can be challenged in Appellate court of Kiev within ten days.
As reported, August 31, the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading by 265 votes approved the presidential bill on amendments to the Basic law of the country in terms of decentralization of power.
Then under the houses of Parliament, clashes of protesters who oppose voting for this bill, with police officers. As a result of collisions and thrown grenades at police killed several national guardsmen, several soldiers were hospitalized in serious condition. According to the Ukrainian interior Ministry, suffered 140 law enforcement officers and civilians, including members of the media.
Interior Minister Avakov accused in the clashes outside the Parliament building all-Ukrainian Union «Svoboda» and its leader Tyahnybok: «I directly accuse Oleg Tyahnybok and his party «Freedom». I think it’s a crime, not a political position.»
