Le Pen and Fillon will advance to the second round of the elections of the President of France. Waltz didn’t bother them — poll

The candidate from the party «the Republicans» françois Fillon and the leader of the far-right National front, marine Le Pen, most likely, will advance to the second round of presidential elections in France, according to published on Wednesday, 7 December 2016, the results of the poll BVA-Salesforce referenced by «Interfax-Ukraine».

If the vote were held now, in the first round Fillon would get from 23% to 29%, and Le Pen — from 24% to 26% of the vote. It would have allowed them to occupy the first two places and pass to the second round.

Meanwhile, in the first round of the vote, supporting the «left» are fairly evenly distributed between Emmanuel Macron (14%), Jean-Luc Mélenchon (14%) and Manuel Valls(13%).

Centrist Francois Bayrou could only count on 6%.

Thus, Waltz will be able to overcome the barrier of 20% only in case of Makron and Bayrou refuses to participate in the elections. However, even in this case he will not be able to garner the same support that Fillon and Le Pen.

In the second round, according to the survey, Fillon by a considerable margin would be ahead of Le Pen with 67% of the votes, while the leader of the far right could count on 33%.

The survey was conducted the 2-4 of December. It was attended by over 900 people.

Recall, December 5, Waltz resigned as Prime Minister and declared his nomination for the presidency. At the head of the French government he was replaced by Bernard Cazeneuve.

Fillon, especially Le Pen, because of its programs and political connections are considered by analysts «friends of Putin«.
