Kvitashvili: I can’t get up and leave

The Minister of health Alexander Kvitashvili explained the decision to withdraw the resignation to the need to keep the government and carry out reforms. He said this to journalists on 5 February during a briefing at the Ministry, UKRINFORM reported.

«It was the decision was taken to not ruin the government, which worked together. I think it worked effectively. So we are not under the pressure of various corrupt political influences, it was necessary to keep the unity, keep the team», — said Kvitashvili.

He stressed that now it is necessary to enact laws and start building a normal health system.

«Those attacks, unfounded cries of and relationship to government now in the country, is not acceptable at all for me, so I can’t get up and leave», — said Kvitashvili.

Recall, 18 September 2015 the Verkhovna Rada did not support the resignation of the healthcare Minister Alexander Kvitashvili.

4 February 2016 at an extraordinary meeting of the government Ministers earlier submitted their resignation, announced the readiness to withdraw their applications.
