The position of Hungary will not affect the evaluation by experts of the Council of Europe Ukrainian law «About education». This broadcast channel «112 Ukraine», said the permanent representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba.

They have a very large experience of preparation of such conclusions, analysis of such legislation, so of course, Budapest is going to stick to their guns, to prove his position, and we have ours. The findings of the experts will draw from the point of view of existing standards,» the diplomat said.
He noted that the Council of Europe experts participated in the preparation of the law. Also Kuleba said that Ukraine does not intend to discriminate against minorities.
«Changes in the article that causes the most controversy, was introduced in Parliament during the most acute phase of the discussion. But to say that our partners did not know that there is a new law and new system, to be an exaggeration. At the same time, you need to clearly understand them fully satisfied with the status quo that existed prior to the adoption of this law. He stressed that Ukraine does not intend to sever relations with Hungary, but rather wants to develop them and to «work to ensure that the rights of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine was the most protected in accordance with international standards and Ukrainian legislation».
On 5 September the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading the law «On education», and on 25 September it was signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The document introduces 12-year school education and the educational office of the Ombudsman, as well as expanding the use of the Ukrainian language in education.
As explained by the Minister of education and science, Liliya Hrynevych, preschool and primary education will be acquired in the native language. While a large emphasis will be placed on mastering the state language. Then, starting from a basic level, the education will be carried out in the Ukrainian language.
