Kirilenko: Ukraine must regain the ashes Bandera, Petliura and Konovalets

The situation around the burial site of the famous Ukrainian poet Oleksandr Oles raises the issue of creating a National Pantheon and the transfer to Ukraine of the ashes of the leaders of the Ukrainian liberation movement. This opinion was expressed by Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko on his Twitter page.

«A sad story with the Oles once again puts on the agenda the establishment of a National Pantheon. It is necessary to return to Ukraine, Petliura, Bandera, Konovalets«, — he wrote.

Kirilenko added that the future of the national Pantheon must «will combine the memory of the heroes of the liberation struggle and of our contemporaries heroes of the ATO».

As reported, the remains of the famous Ukrainian poet Oleksandr Oles, buried in the Czech Republic, was forcibly exhumed. According to the foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the remains of Oles and his wife after the exhumation was moved to the Depository Olshansky cemetery in Prague.

Successors of the writer have already agreed to the reburial of the ashes of his famous ancestor in Ukraine.

Grave of Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera is located in Munich. The Chairman Leads the Ukrainian nationalists Eugene Konovalets buried in the cemetery, Crooswijk in Rotterdam. Organizer of the Ukrainian armed forces of Simon Petlyura had found their last rest in the cemetery Montparnasse in Paris.
