Kilchytska: In 2010, I voted for Yanukovych. And now I’m going to vote for Tymoshenko

Former Deputy Kyiv mayor Irena Kilchytska said on the author’s program of Dmitry Gordon «GORDON» on the TV channel «112 Ukraine», in 2013 she came to the Maidan in protest against the policies of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

«Came out, because I never considered myself a redneck, because he knew that it was time to make a point – stick was kinked. I thought after 2004, it is no longer possible. In 2010, choosing between Tymoshenko (Yulia Tymoshenko. – «GORDON») and Yanukovych, I voted for Yanukovich… And now I will vote for Tymoshenko», – she said.

Kilchytska expressed confidence that Tymoshenko will participate in the next presidential election.

«I’ll vote for her. I think she has a very good chance. It is time for women to become President, I think, as in ancient times when there were so many Russian Queens, and in Ukraine too», – noted ex-Vice-the mayor of Kiev.

Presidential elections in Ukraine in 2010 were held in two rounds. In the second round, won by Viktor Yanukovych, it has typed 48,95% of the votes. Yulia Tymoshenko voted 45,47% voters.
