Kazan: Lutsenko called arrested $1.5 billion «money Arbuzov», but then they suddenly turned into «money Kurchenko»

In the case of the special confiscation of $1.5 billion ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his entourage has a lot of contradictions. About this in Facebook Jan 11, wrote the journalist Denis Kazan.

According to him, Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko «first called arrested funds «money Arbuzov» (former first Deputy Prime Minister and former head of the National Bank of Ukraine Sergey Arbuzov. – «GORDON»), but then they suddenly turned into «money» Kurchenko’s (fluent Ukrainian businessman Sergey Kurchenko. – «GORDON»)».

«This is a key moment in the story. Because to the layman there is no difference between Kurchenko and Arbuzov. And from a legal point of view the difference is fundamental. You can’t arrest the money in the accounts of one person, and then to confiscate the other. It is outright trash, such a confiscation is very easy to challenge in court and appeal,» said Kazansky.

He also announced «an important document which has not previously been published».

«The results of the investigation service of Ukraine, which sought and found the money Arbuzov in 2014. The ones who later confiscated Kurchenko. Sent a good man, but I just physically do not have time to disassemble it all yourself. The volume is very large, so I have not printed out, and posted on file sharing for all,» he said.

Kazan claims that «the document stated a large number of different companies that are associated with family Arbuzov, was involved in corruption schemes and the money taken out of Ukraine.»
