Human rights activists and the international movement of the Voice Project have launched a campaign «In conclusion, for the art», in which famous people from the world of art trying to draw attention to the fate of their colleagues from around the world, found themselves behind bars. Thus, in particular, the famous American actor johnny Depp stood up for the filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, who was convicted in Russia for 20 years of imprisonment, writes NEWSru.com.
The project website notes that Sentsov has repeatedly complained about the beatings in the colony, but his appeals remained unheeded. In addition, it is emphasized that the only two witnesses who testified against Ukrainian film Director, admitted that he did it under pressure.
