Japanese robot «employed» in the U.S. airport by porter and beer vendor

Japanese robot Pepper is one of the first among their «relatives» got a job.

«Pyramid Taproom at the international airport of Oakland (USA) about two weeks uses this robot as a doorman and a street vendor beer. In addition, the robot can help people to find their way, putting the correct direction», — stated in the publication.

According to experts of the SoftBank Corp., which developed the robot, now the developers are currently investigating interaction techniques to work with a person and with groups of people.
