The Russian side will try to negotiate a bonus after the release of the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people of Akhtem chigusa, and Ilmi Umerov. This was during the briefing, which was broadcast channel «112 Ukraine», said first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko.
«I am convinced that among the bonuses that trying to negotiate the Russian side, and the easing of sanctions and a return to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Because there is now a serious struggle for the return of the Russian delegation without preconditions, without implementation of PACE resolutions,» – said Gerashchenko.
In her view, Russian President Vladimir Putin is using this humanitarian step as a bargaining chip. Gerashchenko said that the Ukrainian position remains unchanged.
«We urge the world to keep the unity on one issue: the return of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in full, full de-occupation and deannexation Crimea and Donbas, the release of all hostages and political prisoners. Without these prerequisites, without a complete package of the Minsk agreements and the liberation of the Crimea there can be no question about the fact that Russia embarked on the path», she said.
The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, in turn, said: «I think Putin is counting on serious bonuses. He, as always, trying to release one man to cover up murder of thousands.»
